Trevor Craig grew up in St. Louis, where from a young age, he cultivated a passion for problem solving. From exploring the lifecycle of plants as a child on his parents' seven acres to investigating what causes humans to get sick through his studies in biochemistry, cellular and Molecular Biology at Drake University in Iowa and eventually dedicating his career to research, development and consulting for food manufacturers – Trevor has always had an affinity for finding solutions.
His career thus far has been defined by concentrated experience in and out of the lab. Trevor spent four years in food ingredient research and development with a focus on ingredients that reduced bacterial growth and increasing bioavailability in human and animal feed, then entered 3rd party analytical testing, managed his own laboratory and eventually accepted a position with Microbac, the nation’s largest private testing firm, where he works today. Trevor has touched nearly every aspect of the food industry. And while Trevor’s role is complex, we can define it simply; he’s a problem solver.
He is in charge of getting down to the root of the issue when it comes to analytical food testing challenges. Now, he applies this unique ability to consulting for food manufacturers across the country, helping decision makers to optimize their businesses from lab, to production, to sale.
